Global tech giant Walton is producing high-tech world-class motherboard or PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) in Bangladesh. Walton is exporting various technical products including PCB to different countries of the world besides meeting its own and domestic needs.
Following this, on Thursday (June 18, 2026), Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Fakir Mahbub Anam and Advisor to the Prime Minister on ICT Affairs Rehan Asif cut the ribbon and inaugurated Walton’s PCBA export shipment to the United States in a ceremony organized at the headquarters of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC in Chandra, Gazipur.
At that time, the member of parliament of Gazipur-1 seat was also present among others. Mojibur Rahman, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC Managing Director SM Mahbubul Alam, Director SM Nurul Alam Rezvi and SM Manjurul Alam Avi.
Earlier, guests were greeted with flowers upon arrival at the Walton headquarters. They first enjoyed a video documentary on Walton. Then visit Walton’s well-equipped product display center. Later, the guests visited the manufacturing units of Walton’s motherboard (SMT), television panel clean room, PCB, mold and die etc.
The Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology and Advisor to the Prime Minister on ICT was impressed by the vast industry and the manufacturing process of numerous state-of-the-art technology products while visiting the Walton Headquarters. They highly appreciated Walton’s contribution to the domestic high-tech industry.
