Many Samsung smartphone users complain that the performance slows down or hangs just a few days after purchasing the phone. Actually it depends a lot on the default settings of the phone. Choosing the right settings will make your Samsung phone run like a rocket again. Make the following 5 changes today to speed up your phone and improve battery backup.
First, remove the bloatware apps from the phone. Many unnecessary apps are pre-installed with smartphones, which creates additional pressure on the phone’s storage and processor. Tap and hold on the app icon to uninstall or disable it. Some system apps cannot be completely deleted but it is better to disable them.
Second, put apps you don’t use often into ‘deep sleep’ mode. Go to ‘Battery’ and then ‘Background usage limits’ from phone settings. From there go to ‘Deep Sleeping Apps’ and add unnecessary apps. In this, apps will not be able to consume RAM and internet unnecessarily in the background.
Thirdly, try turning off the ‘RAM Plus’ feature on Samsung phones. It uses the internal storage as virtual RAM, which sometimes slows down the phone. Turn it off by going to ‘Memory’ and ‘RAM Plus’ from ‘Device Care’ of the phone and restart the phone once.
Fourth, turn off lock screen ads. Go to the ‘Wallpaper Services’ option in the phone’s ‘Wallpaper and Style’ and set it to ‘None’. Doing this will stop Glance lock screen wallpaper and ads, thereby reducing the strain on the processor.
Fifth, adjust the display settings. Go to the phone’s ‘Display’ settings and set the ‘Motion Smoothness’ option to ‘Adaptive’ or ‘High’. Also choose FHD Plus or QHD Plus from screen resolution options. As a result, the screen will look clearer, and the overall experience of using the phone will be much smoother.
