On the occasion of August 15, students have taken a stand at number 32 of Dhanmondi in the capital. An allegation of attack on a leader of the student camp during the stay has been made against the leaders and activists of the youth group who stayed there. This incident happened after 9 pm today Thursday (August 14). Later the incident went viral on social media.
It is known that the name of the camp leader who was attacked is Muhammad Mamun. He is in charge of training affairs editor of Dhaka College Branch.
The Central Publicity Secretary of the organization Azizur Rahman Azad confirmed this with reference to the Dhaka College branch camp around 10 pm. He said, Mamun is the training affairs secretary of Dhaka College. The attack happened when he was going to his personal work via Dhanmondi number 32. Later, after knowing the identity, one of the youth group says ‘sorry’ on behalf of everyone. The matter was resolved there.
At around 10:30 pm, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Ramana Division of Police Masud Alam said, I came to the spot a little earlier. Never heard of such a thing. It could be a misunderstanding. Still looking.
